In joining the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, this dynamic property needed to reintroduce itself as an electric voice in the modern Hollywood scene—itself a mixed bag of grit, glitter, and industry. In record time, we delivered a full repositioning, visual rebrand, and custom photo and video work. Hollywood Volume is ready for its close-up.

The Approach
Our strategic analysis indicated success for a brand that speaks to unbridled spirits who crave spontaneity and go against the grain. The resulting visuals combine choose-your-own-era stylized vignettes, free-form collages, and a touch of Hollywood idealism to promise a stay where any number of stories can unfold.

The System
A California-sunset color palette of orange, teal, and retro yellow grounds a logotype reminiscent of theater marquees. Secondary typography pulls cues from classic film title cards, and a high-contrast approach between type sizes signifies a brand with much to say but little to prove.


The Expression
Photography captures dramatic subjects candidly, and funky, saturated colors and energetic styling tie everything together. We balanced the brand’s sparkling visual personality with an approachable tone of voice to maintain an LA-laidback undertone.
